Mr. Brown Amuenje

Mr. Brown Amuenje - Principal

Brown Amuenje is the founder of Catalyst Investment Managers and has over 25 years of investment management experience in various roles. Prior to starting the business, Brown was the Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for STANLIB Namibia. Brown was also an investment analyst at Allan Gray Namibia and has stockbroking experience with Golding Torr De Decker in Johannesburg. Mr. Amuenje holds a BComm with a major in Investment Management.

Ms. Yolandi Tjejamba

Chief Operating Officer

Ms. Yolandi Tjejamba - Chief Operating Officer

Yolandi Tjejamba is the Chief Operating Officer at Catalyst Investment Managers, bringing a combined 15 years of experience across auditing and investment management.Prior to joining Catalyst, Yolandi served as an Audit Manager at SGA Chartered Accountants and Auditors, where she gained extensive experience in audit, assurance and financial reporting. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences from the University of South Africa (UNISA). Yolandi is also a registered Chartered Accountant (Namibia).

Ms. Rejoice Kotungondo - Administration and Compliance

Ms. Rejoice Kotungondo is an Administration and Compliance Officer at Catalyst Investment Managers with over 10 years of experience in client service, compliance and administrative functions. Over the course of her career, she has developed extensive expertise in administration, operational support, compliance and the delivery of exemplary customer service standards. She is an enthusiastic team player who is always willing and available to assist clients, and she is committed to maintaining high standards of service and operational efficiency within the organisation.

Mr. Nafimane Shatona

Nafimane Shatona - Investment Analyst

Nafimane Shatona is an Investment Analyst at Catalyst Investment Managers. He holds a BBus.Sc. degree specialising in Finance with Accounting from the University of Cape Town and has completed CFA Level I. He joined Catalyst through the Graduate Trainee Programme in 2024, where he developed strong analytical skills and a solid foundation in investment research. He brings a disciplined, analytical approach and a strong passion for building a long-term career in the investment industry.

Vincent Shivolo - Investment Specialist

Vincent Shivolo is an Investment Specialist at Catalyst Investment Managers with over two years of investment experience. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) and has earned the Capital Markets & Securities Analyst (CMSA®) designation as well as a qualification in Financial Planning & Wealth Management. Prior to joining Catalyst, Vincent served as a Business Development Assistant at STANLIB Namibia, where he gained experience in client engagement and investment-related support functions. He brings a strong foundation in economics, combined with a disciplined, analytical, and client-focused approach, and is committed to continuous learning and professional development within the investment industry.

Mr. Antonio Hansen

Quantitative Analyst

Mr. Antonio Hansen - Quantitative Analyst

Antonio Hansen is a Quantitative Analyst at Catalyst Investment Managers with over two years of investment experience. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST). Prior to joining Catalyst, Antonio worked as a Data Analyst at the Namibian Statistics Agency (NSA), where he developed strong skills in data analysis and statistical modelling. He joined Catalyst through the Graduate Trainee Programme and, following a successful period demonstrating strong analytical capability and quantitative aptitude, was promoted to his current role. He is a disciplined, analytical, and driven professional, committed to building a long-term career in quantitative and investment analysis.

Ms. Dezi Murorua

Quantitative Analyst

Ms. Dezi Murorua - Quantitative Analyst

Dezi Murorua is a Quantitative Analyst at Catalyst Investment Managers and holds a BSc in Mathematical Statistics with a specialisation in data science. She has expertise in contingencies, actuarial statistics, and financial engineering, supported by a strong foundation in financial mathematics and statistical data analysis. Dezi has completed several Actuarial Science board exams and is proficient in SAS, R, SQL, and Microsoft Office.

Ms. Tonata Amukushu

Ms. Tonata Amukushu - Investment Analyst

Tonata Amukushu is a Investment Analyst at Catalyst Investment Managers and holds a BCom Honours in Economic Analysis of Financial Markets and a BCom in Economics and Finance, both from the University of Cape Town. With three years of experience as an Economics Tutor, she has a strong foundation in economic theory. She was part of the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Fellowship Programme, focused on cultivating high-impact individuals. Tonata is passionate about Economics, with a keen interest in Investments and Macroeconomic Data Analysis.

Mr. Pieter Richard - Trainee Investment Analyst

Mr Pieter Richard is a Trainee Investment Analyst at Catalyst Investment Managers. Prior to joining Catalyst, Pieter served as a Senior Audit Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he gained valuable experience in auditing, financial reporting and financial analysis.He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (Honours) from North-West University (NWU).Pieter brings a strong technical accounting foundation, analytical discipline and a keen interest in investment analysis to the Catalyst team.
